For over 20 years, the Anaya family ran the company as a close-knit workshop in Mexicali, known for its quality craftsmanship, trusted relationships, and hands-on care. From small production runs to complex custom designs, the Anayas built a reputation for honesty, precision, and a deeply personal approach to manufacturing.

In 2025, the Anayas sold the company to the Murrays, a San Diego-based family who shares their same passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to client success. Since then, the Murrays have assembled a powerhouse team of talented women to run the company, turning Blue Lotus into a creative hub where exceptional ideas become tangible works of art.

With decades of combined experience in business, design, production and operations, Blue Lotus is evolving into a modern, full-service manufacturing partner, brand developer, and wholesale retailer, all while honoring the heart and soul that made it so special at the start.​ We’re proud to carry on the legacy the Anayas built, growing the company into a collaborative space where independent designers and brands can take a hands on approach to designing and producing their own line. Our Mexicali facility remains women-led and family-run and operated, with many of the original employees still at the workshop.
